Lead Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading challenging projects and creating final Surface Wellhead and Tree engineering designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Surface Wellhead and Tree final engineering designs that meet customer requirements.
  • Generating designs, machine detail drawings, stack up drawings, Bill of Material, calculations, engineering part information, and Field Service Manual to meet customer requirements and industry standard (API6A).
  • Ensuring Engineering deliverables are completed within the agreed timeline.
  • Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
  • Employing the best combination of all preliminary information and contributing data to develop final design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Design Engineering for Surface Pressure Control Equipment or equivalent experience in relevant product.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with Surface Wellhead and Christmas Tree product, with deep knowledge with API 6A and API 16A standard or equivalent experience in relevant product.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with 3D models and 2D machine detail drawings using CAD software.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to apply thorough knowledge of engineering and drafting standards, codes and regulations affecting particular disciplines or drafting projects.
  • Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment across different time zones.
  • Self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills and an ability to articulate technical information clearly.
