Junior Graphic Designer Position

The Caravan is seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join their team in Delhi, India.

  • This role involves working on magazine layouts, covers, and illustrations for both print and web platforms.

Candidates with experience in UI/UX design and illustration are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelors degree or diploma in Visual Communication/Graphic Design from a reputed design institute and possess 1 to 2 years of experience in publication design, with a preference for magazine design background.

An ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency in Adobe software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, the ability to create innovative layouts for text and image-based stories, and familiarity with modern web and social media design trends.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the creative director to ideate and create design elements for various sections of the magazine and social media platforms, designing layouts for the website, newsletters, interactive stories, and more.

Key skills required for this role include attention to detail and flexibility to contribute to various graphic design tasks. This is a full-time position for one year, with the possibility of night, holiday, and weekend work as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Visual Communication/Graphic Design
  • 1-2 years of experience in publication design, preferably magazine design
  • Proficiency in Adobe software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
