TradeNet Permit Declaration Supervisor

The TradeNet Permit Declaration Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the submission, processing and compliance of trade documentation through Singapore's TradeNet system. This role ensures timely and accurate declaration of import, export and transshipment permits in accordance with Singapore Customs regulations and requirements of other government agencies.

A knowledge of processing Certificates of Origin (COOs) for various export markets is essential, including familiarity with both preferential and non-preferential COOs. The supervisor ensures accuracy in documentation and compliance with relevant Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) or origin criteria where applicable.

This role also involves leading a team of declaration officers to manage team rosters ensuring adequate staffing coverage for permit declaration activities, including weekends, holidays or peak periods while maintaining service level standards. The supervisor works closely with internal departments and external stakeholders handling escalations and participating in new customer onboarding or process implementation projects to improve workflow efficiency and compliance.
