Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infant Care Educator to join our team. As an Infant Care Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants, supporting their holistic development and promoting their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment for infants
- Ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of each child through attentive care
- Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards
- Nurture Early Development by planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Observe and document each child's progress, maintaining detailed records
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development and needs
- Build Relationships by developing trusting and nurturing relationships with each infant
Requirements:
- Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
- A team player with passion and interest in caring for and developing infants
- Basic computer skills advantageous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
