Procurement Specialist

The Purchasing Executive role involves purchasing goods and materials globally, ensuring that the company's purchase guidelines and policies are adhered to. The position requires effective negotiation skills to secure competitive prices and terms.
- Source materials from global suppliers
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
- Monitor delivery of purchased equipment or items
- Ensure purchased items meet specified requirements
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Up to 4.5k + Performance Bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:25 am - 4:58 pm (may include Saturdays)
Location: Tuas
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement-related capacity
- Minimum Diploma in a procurement-related field of study
- Knowledge of SAP for generating purchase orders
- Ability to source materials and equipment globally
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Understanding of commercial documents used in purchasing
