About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical conditions, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, considering resident preferences and medical history, to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Provide Hands-On Physiotherapy Treatments: Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and modalities, to residents.
  • Pain Management: Assess and manage residents' pain through various techniques, such as therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and heat/cold therapy.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based rehabilitation programs and protocols.
  • Education and Communication: Educate residents and their families on rehabilitation goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution and valid license or registration to practice as a physiotherapist in the appropriate jurisdiction.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a physiotherapist, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of physiotherapy principles, techniques, and evidence-based practice, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.
Working Hours and Location
  • Working Hours: 830am - 6pm, 5 Days work week.
  • Location: West Coast & Tampines Area.
