About Us

The Chinese Swimming Club is a renowned aquatic centre of excellence in Singapore, dedicated to fostering the growth of swimming talent and promoting aquatic wellness.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aquatic Coach to lead our Performance Swimming team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs that drive exceptional performance from our swimmers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute strategic long-term plans for our performance swimming squad;
  • Create high-quality annual training and competition schedules to optimize results;
  • Prepare daily training schedules for the performance squad, ensuring alignment with overall program goals;
  • Maintain accurate records of swimmer progress and performance data;
  • Establish realistic individual goals and objectives in collaboration with each swimmer, aligned with their strengths and areas for improvement;
  • Plan, attend, and support swimmers at local and international competitions, providing expert guidance and mentorship as needed;
  • Ensure effective communication among all levels of the program, including coaches, swimmers, and support staff;
  • Provide actionable feedback and analysis on program performance to stakeholders, informing data-driven decisions;
  • Deliver regular updates to parents and guardians on their child's progress and development;
  • Assist in delivering coaching cover for other staff members when required, maintaining continuity and ensuring seamless delivery of programs;
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of internal and external meets and events, enhancing the club's reputation and visibility;
  • Collaborate with Head Coach and senior management to maintain best practices and cutting-edge coaching methodologies;
  • Promote the SwimCSC Vision, working collaboratively towards shared objectives;

Requirements:

  • A minimum of GCE O/A Levels (or equivalent) or ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec in Services Management/Hospitality Operations/Event Management/Business Administration, or Polytechnic Diploma in Sport & Wellness Management/Sport Coaching;
  • National Registration of Coaches (NROC) certification is mandatory;
  • An excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential;
  • A 5.5-day workweek is standard.
