About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our Fund Safety team at TikTok PTE. LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale technical projects, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead technical projects to lay the foundation for iterative development and scale of early products
  • Align with product and org objectives, coordinate with cross-functional teams on delivering key results
  • Develop robust, efficient technology platform products
  • Contribute to engineering strategy, tooling, processes, and culture
  • Research and apply cutting-edge domain and technical knowledge into products
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging team members to take calculated risks and learn from failures

Requirements

  • Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines with 2+ years working experience
  • Rich working experience in scalable, highly available, distributed, and mission-critical systems
  • Extensive knowledge of modern software tech stack, including front-end applications, large-scale backend, data pipeline
  • Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, Java, C++
  • Deep understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and algorithms
  • Able to work closely with diverse stakeholders and have good communication skills
  • Self-driven, positive, cooperative, and willing to keep learning enthusiasm at all times
