Air Freight Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Operations Coordinator to ensure seamless air freight operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating with customers and overseas agents, preparing draft AWBs for review, and maintaining regular liaison to manage email correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft AWBs for review by customers, forwarders, and overseas agents.
  • Coordinate with clients to draft permits prior to shipment arrival.
  • Maintain regular liaison with customers and overseas agents, and manage email correspondence.
  • Confirm pieces, weight, and dimensions of cargo upon arrival at the warehouse.
  • Handle submission of FWB, FHL, permits, and other required documents.
  • Send pre-alerts, manage billing, and handle related emails for air export operations.
  • Await pre-alerts to either release cargo or arrange delivery. Visit the warehouse to inspect cargo.
  • Pre-declare customs permits and submit shipment details through the CCN system to local authorities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations. A minimum GCE O Level or equivalent is required. Individuals without experience are encouraged to apply, as training is provided.
