Enterprise Technology Director

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Technology Director - Application Delivery to join our digital and 5G journey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for end-to-end IT services supporting Singtel Enterprise customers, partnering with Enterprise Business units and ensuring full accountability for Build & Run for Enterprise applications including architecture and design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end-to-end IT services supporting Singtel Enterprise customers
- Partner with Enterprise Business units to ensure alignment and accountability
- Ensure full accountability for Build & Run for Enterprise applications including architecture and design
- Application support & operations (including usage, billing, bill formatting, payments, journaling)
- Enhancements delivery for Enterprise Charging & Billing applications
- Application support & operations for International traffic and carrier services applications
- Lead, direct and manage a team of solution designers, solution architects and support specialists supporting billing and carrier applications for the Enterprise Business
- Determine and maintain the Enterprise IT architecture and roadmap
- Develops, directs, coaches, mentors and aligns/reinforces team members with the mission, vision, values and goals
- Consults with professional knowledge, experience and technical expertise to respond to questions and facilitate problem-solving
- Ensures system and applications are healthy, and enhancements / projects are delivered in accordance with Singtel IT standards
- Accountable for quality, on-time and on-budget delivery
- Strategic vendor management, business, IT and provider alignment, executive ownership
- Maintains and builds alliances with recognised experts and with decision makers
- Fosters commitment, team spirit, pride and trust
Requirements:
- Tertiary education with Degree in Computer Science, IT, software or computer engineering fields or equivalent
- Technical and project management certification, e.g. PMP, ITIL, TOGAF
- Minimum 15 years of relevant IT experience with at least 10 years of application delivery and support experience of BSS/OSS applications and Telco experience
- Managed delivery teams of more than 50 staffs
- Strong experience in managing multiple business stakeholders and vendors
- Strong commercial background
- Effective at communicating and influencing at senior management and executive level
- Strong understanding of industry standards
- Experience in delivery in a complex and high-pressure environment
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivery of quality services
- Strong financial and vendor management experience with successful track record of driving to an outcome
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems, technical and engineering concepts as well as business operations and processes
- Ability to keep abreast of the new technologies with a view of implementing them to increase productivity and efficiency of the organisation
- Demonstrable background in the design, implementation, measurement and tracking of operational key performance indicators
- Detailed understanding of the end-to-end software lifecycle, operational and support procedures and processes
- Proven track record of conceptual / strategic thinking ability
- Possess excellent communication, collaboration, presenting and influencing skills, particularly in liaison with internal & external service providers and senior leadership
- Display leadership in action – self-directed and motivated; able to influence team to achieve project milestones
- Possess the ability to exercise independent and effective judgment
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous, energetic, innovative, able to work well in a team and under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills, resourceful, take ownership, able to conceptualise, ability to motivate and build high performing team
- Ability to generate creative solutions for work situations, encourage and embrace new and untested approaches
- Display a disciplined but flexible approach to problem solving
- Willing to go the extra mile or take on additional scope where needed or situation is critical
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience
