Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for TBM risk identification.
  • Design and develop practical tools to optimize TBM operation parameters.
  • Conduct research and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Assist in securing external funding through grant applications and proposals.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in technical hands-on experience for TBM tunneling.
  • Excellent programming skills, such as Python, MATLAB, or other competent languages.
  • Good record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in proposal writing is a plus.
