Violin Teacher Job Description

As a violin teacher at our music academy, you will be responsible for delivering engaging violin instruction to students of all ages. Your role will involve creating and executing lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, collaborating with colleagues to enhance the music program, and maintaining effective communication with students and parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality violin instruction to students from 3.5 years old to adults.
  • Plan and execute lesson plans that cater to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with fellow teaching staff to improve the music program.
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents.
  • Organize and manage recitals to foster student performance opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma in Music; degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, with a strong track record in violin instruction.
  • Proficiency in teaching music theory and practical violin skills to students of all ages.
  • Ability to organize and oversee recitals, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Passionate about shaping students' musical journeys and contributing to a supportive learning environment.

Working Hours:

Monday: 10:30am - 8pm (1 hour lunch break)

Tuesday: 10:30am - 8pm (1 hour lunch break)

Wednesday: 10:30am - 8pm (1 hour lunch break)

Thursday: Closed

Friday: 10:30am - 8pm (1 hour lunch break)

Saturday: 9am - 7pm (1 hour lunch break)

Sunday: 9am - 7pm (1 hour lunch break)

*** You can choose 2 weekdays as your off days.
