We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Counselor to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Citi Global Wealth (CGW) division, you will be responsible for managing investment relationships and delivering our Chief Investment Officer's views to our wealth clients.
About the Role- Working closely with Relationship Managers, you will manage investment relationships and deliver our Chief Investment Officer's views to our wealth clients.
- You will function as one of the primary client contacts, and trusted investment advisor for clients, including direct selling, determining suitability, identifying product specific opportunities, portfolio advice and after sales execution.
- You will work closely with the Market Managers and support the Relationship Managers professionals primarily serving clients in North Asia Markets.
- You will partner with Relationship Managers in area to grow their existing clients' share of wallet and win a greater percentage of their high net worth prospects by focusing on delivering quality solutions that meet individual client's needs.
- You will educate sales force on product solutions, create customized proposals for high net worth clients and be available to accompany sales professionals to deliver solutions in client meetings.
- You will collaborate with colleagues to offer complete advice and wealth solutions to clients.
- You will leverage specialists and wholesalers to provide subject matter expertise where appropriate and present or co-present at client events.
- You will provide a high level of communication and customer service to sales professionals and their clients.
- 6-10 years of experience in product sales required.
- Broad understanding of financial services, product solutions and all aspects of planning strategies and concepts.
- Client-centric skills including excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Based on product type, specific licensing may be required.
- Expect up to 25% travel.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred due to coverage requirements.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive benefits such as access to an array of learning and development resources, programs and services for your physical and mental well-being, and more.
