About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.

Job Description

As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and providing operation support to our PROMIS system. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless integration with our CIM system, investigating and resolving production line operation issues, and developing solutions to system-related problems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design, develop, test, implement, and optimize our CIM system. Your expertise in troubleshooting and analyzing integrated systems will be invaluable in identifying and resolving complex technical issues.

In addition to your technical skills, you will provide training to enable 1st line support staff to provide frontline operation support for production. This will include equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent fields
  • Familiarity with dot.net programming language
  • Experience with SECS / GEM Protocol is a significant advantage
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, including SQL commands and data accessing
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and self-driven skills
  • Familiarity with Elastic Search, Kibana, and Logstash is a valuable asset

This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
