Job Summary:

The Language Educator will be responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing educational programs for children in accordance with our centre's policies and framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare engaging class projects, field trips, and experiential activities to promote children's learning and development.
  • Develop and shape children's character and moral values through interactive and inclusive teaching methods.
  • Ensure the safety and hygiene of children at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and participate in parents' discussion groups to foster strong relationships.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess any of the following ECDA certified certificates:

  • Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (Chinese) (PDECCE-T/CL)
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (Chinese)(DECCE-T/CL)
  • Diploma (Conversion) in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (Chinese)[(DECCE-T (Conversion) (CL)]
  • Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (Chinese)(CPMTL-C)
  • Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (Malay) (CPMTL-M)
  • Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (Tamil) (CPMTL-T)
