Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing quality control analysis on materials at incoming, intermediate and final stages throughout the manufacturing process. This includes operating, maintaining and troubleshooting lab facilities, monitoring and measuring devices.
In this role, you will schedule or perform preventive maintenance/servicing or calibration works to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition. You will also monitor and ensure outgoing product conformity status to meet delivery schedules.
Additionally, you will generate analysis reports and certificates of assurance for customers, establish, review and maintain standard operating procedures and records for compliance to ISO standards.
Other key responsibilities include performing data analysis and initiating investigation when out-of-control/specification situations arise, implementing continual improvement plans or projects for quality management system's effectiveness.
Finally, you will implement and enforce good laboratory and safety practices, plan reagent and lab consumables procurement for good inventory control, purchase and maintain lab inventory, and evaluate test samples for investigation and development works.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of laboratory instruments such as Ion Chromatographs, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-Spectrophotometer & Photometric-Titrator
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
