Job Title: Financial Assistant - Accounts Payable

Estimated Salary: SGD 45,000 - SGD 60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:
As a Financial Assistant - Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including processing invoices, verifying payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will also support the group accountant with monthly reconciliation, reports, and GST submissions, as well as communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounts inquiries. Additionally, you will perform bookkeeping/data entry to accounting software and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process invoices and verify payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
• Assist the group accountant with monthly reconciliation, reports, and GST submissions.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounts inquiries, including responding to phone calls, emails, and letters.
• Perform bookkeeping/data entry to accounting software, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years of accounting background experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external parties.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Be meticulous and conscientious, with a good sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
