Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will work closely with clients aged 18 months to young adults, engaging them in activities tailored to their interests and abilities. Your role will involve:

  1. Conducting assessments and creating personalized treatment plans for developmental delays, disorders, and learning challenges;
  2. Working individually and in small groups with clients;
  3. Collaborating with parents in sessions to better understand and support their child's needs;
  4. Providing home and school-based consultations as required;
  5. Maintaining accurate client documentation and communication;
  6. Participating in regular supervision and clinical sharing within our multidisciplinary team;
  7. Contributing to the organization through shared leadership opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A recognized degree in Psychology, Early Childhood, or Special Education;
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred, but fresh graduates may also apply;
  • Fluency in a local second language is advantageous;
  • A passion for working with bright and quirky individuals who are differently abled;
  • An understanding of the importance of caregiver involvement in supporting development;
  • A willingness to engage in reflective practice and continuous learning;
  • The ability to work Tuesdays to Saturdays.
