Heavy Machinery Management Executive
We are seeking a seasoned Plant and Machinery Manager to lead the management, maintenance, and operational readiness of a wide range of heavy machinery and equipment.
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of construction plant, equipment, vehicles, and tools.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment inventory, location, utilization, and spare parts for efficient resource allocation and asset optimization.
- Plan and coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization across project sites to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for equipment and parts while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and develop a team of mechanics and technicians through effective task delegation, performance management, and training to enhance skill development and job satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on equipment status, costs, and compliance to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in plant and equipment management, preferably within construction or precast environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction machinery and maintenance practices.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
