Job Title: Core Compliance Specialist

The role of a core compliance specialist is crucial in ensuring that our organization adheres to the relevant laws and regulations. This includes acting as the primary liaison to regulatory bodies, managing implementation strategies for complying with requirements, and drafting policies and procedures.

About the Role:
  • This is a key position that requires strong analytical skills and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in researching and interpreting laws and regulations applicable to brokers in Singapore, as well as developing solutions to address regulatory issues.
Responsibilities:
  1. Researching, analyzing, and advising on compliance with laws and regulations related to financial services.
  2. Developing and implementing strategies for meeting regulatory requirements, including managing internal audit reviews and remedial action plans.
  3. Drafting and maintaining firm policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • A self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Experience working in a financial services industry, preferably in a regulatory agency or licensed financial institution.
