Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, implement, test, and deploy software solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, development leads, test engineers, infrastructure engineers, and business users to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Requirements Gathering: Participate in the analysis and requirements gathering phase to translate client needs into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot applications by debugging issues, fixing bugs, identifying bottlenecks, and providing third-level support.
  • Software Release and Maintenance: Build, package, and release software artifacts in an automated way to all environments, including production.
  • Application Performance and Security: Ensure the performance, stability, reliability, and security of the application.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify efficiency and design improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Technology Expertise: Possess a minimum of 10+ years of technology delivery experience in software development, with hands-on experience in at least one server-side object-oriented programming language.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with source code control systems, branching strategies, relational databases, data structures, design patterns, architectural styles, and API designs.
  • Java Expertise: Hands-on experience with Java (Spring, Springboot) in a Unix/Linux environment, as well as experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL, NoSQL, MariaDB, or SQL Server.
  • Software Best Practices: Knowledge of software best practices, such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
  • CI-CD Tools: Experience with CI-CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Teamwork and Communication: A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile technology teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
