Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Officer

The role of a facilities maintenance officer is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of a facility. This position involves overseeing the daily operational management, effective instruction and management of site supervisors/cleaners, coordinating and assigning tasks/works, planning and delivering schedules, and overseeing the servicing and maintenance of cleaning equipment.


Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the facility, ensuring that all areas are covered and services are delivered effectively.
  • Site Supervision: Effective instruction and management of site supervisors/cleaners to ensure delivery of daily operations.
  • Task Coordination: Coordinate, assign and manage tasks/works given to team members, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Scheduling: Plan and deliver schedules for specific needs such as periodic cleaning timetables, utilizing available manpower and equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the servicing and maintenance of cleaning equipment, ensuring that they are in good working condition at all times.

Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years' experience in cleaning, facilities services/management industries, hotels, commercials etc.
  • Driving License: Required to possess a Class 3 driving license.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Skills: Strong analytic and good persuasion skills, excellent time management, well-groomed with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, positive work attitude, able to work independently and in a team.
