About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Underwriting Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing annual treaty renewal data packs, reviewing treaty wordings and requirements, and achieving business plan targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual treaty renewal data packs
  • Review treaty wordings and requirements
  • Handle treaty special acceptance requests
  • Update treaty codes and set up in the company's application system
  • Communicate with the Claims department on claims notifications
  • Review Quarterly Treaty Statement of Accounts
  • Ensure all reinsurance contracts are properly documented
  • Submit Contract Certainty monthly

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity within the general/commercial insurance industry
  • Sound technical knowledge
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong knowledge of General insurance and reinsurance accounting and reporting
  • Good knowledge of reinsurance practice
  • Good analytical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point
