Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging Physics lessons and Scheme of Work in accordance with the required syllabuses
  • Teach and assess students in the classroom and laboratory, ensuring effective learning outcomes
  • Set and vet examination papers, invigilate tests and examinations, and mark assignments and examination scripts
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Organize relevant events, competitions, and activities to enhance student learning and engagement
  • Provide pastoral care and manage students' discipline, performing all aspects of Care Teacher duties as assigned
  • Complete administrative duties related to teaching Physics, maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field from a reputable university
  • A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Institute of Education (NIE) is an advantage
  • At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience in Physics in a school setting
  • Familiarity with Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level, Cambridge IGCSE, WACE, and/or IBDP
  • Meticulous and well-organized, with good interpersonal and communication skills
