Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Project Safety Manager to join our team at WSH Experts Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental control of our airside operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Control: Lead the Airside Safety Manager to enforce compliance with safety requirements and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Method Statement Review: Review proposed method statements, including risk assessments, work plans, standard operating procedures, and safe working procedures, to ensure they are properly executed on site.
  • Safety Inspections and Maintenance: Plan and coordinate safety inspections, obstacle control, and monthly maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Statutory Compliance: Assist the Project Safety Manager to ensure the project complies with statutory requirements and regulations.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Notify the Project Safety Manager of any incidents or situations that require immediate rectification or stopping of operations.
  • Corrective Action: Notify the Project Safety Manager if corrective actions agreed upon after workplace inspections are not implemented by the arranged date.
  • Investigation Support: Assist the Project Safety Manager in conducting investigations into all incidents.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) in deep excavation works of similar complexity, preferably 3 years with a developer or main contractor.
  • Qualifications: Registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer and have been practicing as a WSHO.
  • Certifications: Certificate in Development of a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent, and certificate in DfS Appreciation Course and Lifting Operations Course.
  • Skills: Conversant with all procedures in the Aerodrome Manual and possess excellent communication skills.
