Bending Operator Job

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining metal bending machines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate various types of metal bending machines, including press brakes and CNC bending machines.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve the required bend specifications.
• Ensure that the correct tools and dies are used for each job.

Material Handling Responsibilities:
• Select and load metal sheets, rods, or tubes into the machine as needed.
• Measure and cut materials to the correct size before bending.
• Inspect materials for defects before starting the bending process.

Quality Control and Assurance:
• Verify that bent products meet engineering specifications by checking bend angles and dimensions.
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Perform visual inspections for surface defects or imperfections.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Perform routine maintenance on metal bending machines to ensure they remain operational and efficient.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues that arise during the bending process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and ensure safety.

Blueprint and Technical Drawing Interpretation:
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or work orders to understand specific bending requirements.
• Follow detailed instructions on angles, radius, and types of bends required.

Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when operating metal bending machines.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary, such as gloves, safety goggles, and ear protection.
• Ensure that all operations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
