Trade Compliance and Permit Declaration Leadership Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a trade compliance and permit declaration team at Anradus Pte Ltd.

  • The ideal candidate will oversee daily TradeNet permit declarations, ACES submissions, report preparation, and customer payment collections with precision and accuracy.
  • They will coach and train declaration staff to maintain high standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaising with Customs, government agencies, and clients on permit issues, exceptions, and rejections will be a key responsibility.
  • Tracking declaration turnaround to meet service level commitments will also be essential.
  • Maintaining complete records and ensuring audit compliance will require attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and implementing process updates will be crucial for the success of the team.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields is required.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in permit declaration or trade compliance is essential.
  • Certification in Customs Competency Test for Declarants is mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of Singapore TradeNet, Customs Act, and FTA documentation processes is vital.
  • Proficiency with TradeNet front-end declaration software and MS Office is necessary.
  • Familiarity with customs documents: COO, invoices, AWB, HS codes is required.
  • Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and GST exemption rules is advantageous.
  • Experience handling permits for restricted/controlled goods is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to air cargo or sea freight operations is a plus.
