A career in cloud security requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. As an AVP - SOC Cloud Analyst, you will be responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks in cloud environments.

The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with organizational data security policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring security events and alerts from cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) using security monitoring tools
  • Assisting in the detection and investigation of security incidents in the cloud
  • Working with senior security team members to identify vulnerabilities in cloud systems and infrastructure
  • Assisting in the preparation of security reports and documentation for audits and compliance
  • Collaborating with internal teams to implement cloud security best practices and mitigate risks
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities in cloud security and cybersecurity

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong influencing and relationship management skills. Proven analytical skills are also essential.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Once trained, the positions will be hybrid. Shift work, either Sun-Thurs or Tue-Sat, may be required.
