Job Title:

Laboratory Technician

Job Description

The laboratory technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including analysis of fuel oil, lubricants, petroleum products and general chemistry. This will involve operating laboratory equipment and analyzing samples to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical principles and processes, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, or Chemical & Petroleum, or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience in a chemical or petroleum laboratory is an added advantage
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certifications: None specified
