Job Title: Financial Analyst - Controlling

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in a controlling role.

About the Role:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports, insightful analysis, and robust planning support. This position will ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide business-specific insights to enable swift management response.

  • Deliver timely updates on weekly sales to support business decisions
  • Communicate business-specific insights regularly and flag risks early
  • Submit accurate monthly rolling forecasts to Regional Controlling, highlighting risks and proposing solutions
  • Support bottom-up operational planning with business stakeholders
  • Ensure fixed costs are effectively managed and aligned with budget
Main Tasks:

1. Planning & Performance Management

- Financial Reporting: Provide detailed monthly performance reports with commentary to local and regional management, explaining deviations and recommending corrective actions.

- Business Analysis: Analyze profitability and cost trends against budget and forecast.

2. Business Analysis

- Cost Monitoring: Closely monitor working capital in terms of AR and Inventory performance to optimize net cash contribution.

3. Governance & Compliance

- Audit Follow-up: Ensure all required accounting adjustments are recorded timely to prevent financial discrepancies.

4. Interface Management

- System Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in SAP S4 HANA and BW systems to ensure delivery of accurate and reliable financial reporting.

Requirements:
  • At least 8-year experience in Financial/Controlling/Accounting function in a MNC manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of product costing concept, budgeting, planning, and controlling/analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP S4 HANA and BW system
