Policy Advocate Opportunity

Our company is seeking a highly motivated Policy Advocate to play a pivotal role in shaping our policy positions and identifying strategic opportunities to amplify our leadership and brand. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to convey complex policy issues to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and materials for public policy development in alignment with organizational goals and values
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to develop advocacy strategies and key issues strategies that support our policy objectives and business goals
  • Stay abreast of relevant legislative and regulatory developments, ensuring compliance and proactive engagements in relevant policy discussions
  • Work in coordination with global and country government and public affairs teams to identify, cultivate, and maintain strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders
  • Drive collaboration across government and public affairs teams to ensure a unified regional approach by managing administrative infrastructure such as team meetings and tracking of key performance indicators
  • Develop and coordinate opportunities for executive engagements on key topics with government officials, including high-level political visits
  • Track key performance indicators to assess the impact of public affairs efforts and adjust strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Public Policy, Government Affairs, Political Science, or a related field
  • 5-6 years of professional experience in public & government affairs, with a strong track record of success
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to convey complex policy issues to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in thought leadership program management and strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical & research skills to stay informed about relevant policy developments
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and strong team work culture
