Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Dining Service Staff to join our team at ASIA JDL PTE. LTD. as a Restaurant Server. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Guest Greeting and Seating

Welcome guests to the restaurant, escort them to their tables, and ensure they have everything they need to feel comfortable and relaxed.

Menu Presentation and Recommendations

Present menus to guests, provide detailed information about menu items, and offer personalized recommendations to enhance their dining experience.

Table Setup and Maintenance

Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses, and maintain a tidy dining area throughout the service period.

Order Taking and Communication

Communicate order details to the kitchen staff, ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages, and check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.

Payment and Cash Handling

Deliver checks to guests, collect bill payments, and handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

Team Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with kitchen staff, management, and other servers to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Adherence to Health and Safety Standards

Follow all relevant health department regulations, maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Continuous Improvement

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service standards and quality.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
