Global Regulatory Affairs Director

We are seeking an experienced Regional Head of Regulatory, APAC to join our team at REVUP CONSULTING PTE. LTD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the APAC Regional Regulatory Strategy, providing leadership and stewardship of regulatory affairs to align on vision and execution.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and guide a regional regulatory team to manage regulatory affairs, including formula compliance, labeling compliance, and registration/notification compliance.
- Plan and execute short-term and long-term goals/objectives in regulatory fields to ensure marketing objectives are met.
- Supervise registration/notification of products by both local markets and distributors for obtaining approval of new products and update/maintenance of existing product licenses.
- Collect evolving regulations and conduct critical assessment on the impact of those regulations.
- Provide counsel to stakeholders/management on relevant courses of action, lead advocacy to local authorities to minimize business impact caused by relevant regulations in cooperation with industry association.
- Provide accurate and timely support to local affiliates and distributors regarding regulatory inquiries from local authorities, consumers, retailers, and other stakeholders.
- Report and share major regulatory issues to HQ every month in dotted line reporting relationship. If urgent/critical, immediate reporting is required.
- Update consumer-related policy and execution plans to enhance consumer relationship within the region.
- Support local markets as for health/quality complaints in consumer relationship from technical and consumer relationship's point of view.
- Minimum degree holder majoring in any relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- An industry leader with preferably more than 15 years of experience in regulatory affairs expertise.
- Experience in Pharma, Healthcare, Personal Care, Skincare, Cosmetics is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
