About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team at IHiS. As a key member of our architecture team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand business needs and goals, and develop solutions that align with our enterprise architecture.
  • Develop and recommend new technologies and applications to enhance our solutions.
  • Analyse the impact of solutions on our organization and business processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the technical solution design and creation of architecture blueprints, and perform systems modelling and analysis.
  • Review prototypes and solution blueprints to ensure they meet stakeholder needs, and support the analysis of solution functionality and constraints.
  • Foster continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve design processes and models.
  • Work closely with project teams to guide solution implementation, and drive compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of recommended solution architecture.
  • Resolve technical integration issues, and develop technical roadmaps for continual modernization and risk management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an architect, and at least 15 years of experience in implementing IT systems.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web-based architectures, integration methods, and strategies to support non-functional requirements such as resilience and performance.
  • Skills and experience in health IT systems, HL7, and FHIR are valuable, but not required.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
