Job Title: Director of People and Culture

Job Summary:

Finmo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People and Culture to lead the development and execution of HR strategies that support the scaling of our global organisation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for crafting policies and procedures that ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance across all regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and govern HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote consistency and fairness in their application.
  • Lead a team of specialists for day-to-day HR services and develop an effective business partnership model that meets internal stakeholder expectations.
  • Promote professional development of the organisation by developing performance management strategies and training.
  • Encourage and strengthen organisational culture by collaborating with internal managers and advocating for good people practices.
  • Support leaders and people managers across the organisation to effectively manage their teams and provide effective solutions for leadership development.
  • Develop workforce management strategies that help structure teams and align with business objectives.
  • Oversee and develop programs that enhance employee skills, career growth, and leadership development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading HR functions in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with all levels of the organisation and its international offices.
  • A strategic mind with a hands-on approach to HR management.
  • Experience in nurturing a motivational workplace culture that upholds the company's values and mission.
  • Experience in working hands-on with other cross-functional team leaders to improve all HR processes.
  • Possess a 'get-things-done' mindset and demonstrate a strong work ethic as well as a high degree of integrity.
  • Methodical and systematic work approach with excellent time management and a continuous improvement mindset.
