Are you a passionate and experienced Maths teacher looking for a part-time opportunity?

We are seeking a dedicated Adjunct/Freelance Maths Teacher to join our team of educators. This is an excellent chance to make a difference in the lives of students while pursuing your passion for teaching.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly qualified Maths teacher who can teach Secondary level Mathematics with enthusiasm and creativity. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics education, possess a strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum, and be able to effectively engage and inspire students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engaging and effective mathematics lessons for secondary school students in a tuition centre setting.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to engage students
  • Deliver instruction in line with our centre's curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of mathematical concepts.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and questions.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Prepare and mark assignments, quizzes, and other assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and management.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Requirements:
  • NIE-trained teacher or Ex-MOE teacher preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education (with a focus on Mathematics), or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in teaching Secondary Mathematics in a Singapore school or tuition centre setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
