Interior Design Career Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work as a skilled Interior Designer, responsible for creating and conceptualizing interior spaces for new builds and refresh projects. You will collaborate closely with various departments and external partners to analyze clients' needs, develop plans and specifications, and ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design interior office spaces, including architectural details and temporary elements.
  • Create perspectives, material boards, and floor plans using computer-aided design programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, and hand-drawing skills.
  • Select design strategies and color palettes to create cohesive and visually appealing environments.
  • Enhance and improve the functionality of existing interior spaces by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings, artwork, and décor.
  • Specify materials and source for furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Develop material boards and assist in negotiating prices with vendors and contractors.
  • Coordinate on and off-site project activities, establish project timelines, and coordinate work activity, vendor involvement, and outside contractors as necessary.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of trends and new developments in interior design and architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to efficiently execute clients' and/or management project and design requirements.
  • Evaluate compliance with national and local building and safety codes with every design element.
Requirements:
  • Able to read and interpret architectural drawings and CAD Files.
  • Familiarity with Office Fit-Out standards (MEPFS, FDAS, etc.) is a plus.
  • Able to conduct site visits when necessary.
  • Possess strong communication skills and effective coordination abilities.
  • Demonstrate strong visual awareness and eye for detail.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor's / College Degree in Interior Design or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience related to interior fit-out projects (Commercial and workspace interior projects).
  • Familiarity in using Design Software (Vray, AutoCad, Sketch Up, Ms Office, etc.).
