Job Title: Cloud Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based infrastructure, automation, and security. They will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment, maintain and enhance cloud-based infrastructure, develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, and ensure system security and compliance by applying best security practices.

A strong background in scripting languages such as Python is required, along with experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. The ability to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers, security teams, and IT operations is also essential.

Requirements for the role include at least 2-3 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer, proficiency with CI/CD tools, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). AWS/Azure Cloud certifications are a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment.
  • Maintain, monitor, and enhance cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure system security and compliance by applying best security practices.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime and reliability.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers, security teams, and IT operations to streamline workflows.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Maintain version control and source code management tools such as Git and GitHub/GitLab.

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 - 3 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
  • Any AWS/Azure Cloud certifications will be a strong advantage.
