About this Role: We are seeking a Water Treatment Operations Specialist to manage water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring reliability and availability while complying with regulatory requirements.
- Manage water and wastewater treatment plant operations, monitoring process parameters and maintaining logistics.
- Optimize water treatment processes and ensure effective performance of the plant.
- Monitor plant operating performance, review shift reports, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and health, safety, security, and environment teams to ensure compliance and timely reviews of process regulations and safety equipment.
Key Tasks
- Operate and maintain water treatment systems to ensure efficient and reliable performance.
- Develop and implement procedures for water treatment process optimization.
- Conduct routine inspections and monitor plant operating performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent and compliant operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment plant operations.
