Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care services to residents in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering occupational therapy programs and activities that ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Clinical Care: Ensuring compliance with all occupational therapy standards as stipulated by regulatory bodies.
  • Clinical Assessment: Conducting thorough assessments on residents as part of the admission process and regular routine assessments on residents requiring occupational therapy or rehabilitation services.
  • Program Development: Recommending appropriate OT programs and activities for residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Leadership: Providing leadership to the therapy staff, ensuring safe and quality resident care, and supervising, evaluating, and mentoring staff in the team.
  • Promotion of Evidence-Based Practices: Promoting evidence-based practices on therapy services, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy and full registration with relevant authorities.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures.
  • A self-motivated individual, able to keep up-to-date with advances in the field of Occupational Therapy.
