Job Title: Data Scientist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work on innovative projects, utilizing their technical expertise to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Own AI/ML use cases from ideation to production, ensuring continuous monitoring and enhancement.
2. Serve as a Gen AI technical specialist, designing and implementing models to support advisor sales journeys and operational efficiency.
3. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders to design and deliver robust AI/ML solutions.
4. Translate business problems into technical requirements through proactive stakeholder engagement.
5. Maintain detailed documentation covering dataset preparation, modeling approach, performance metrics, and workflow processes.
6. Ensure all AI/ML solutions comply with data privacy laws and AI governance policies.
7. Promote innovation and continuous improvement across AI/ML models and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Data Science.
  • 3 years of experience in a Data Science role, preferably within AWS cloud environments.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business use cases and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Experience in designing for GenAI models, including metrics and human-in-a-loop evaluation.
  • Exposure in SQL, Python, and Spark, AWS.
  • Supervised and unsupervised ML techniques such as regression, clustering, and tree-based models.
  • Deep understanding of feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation methods.
  • Hands-on experience implementing MLOps practices on AWS as well as AWS Bedrock.
  • Familiarity with data warehouses and big data tools such as Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Hive, S3.

Desired Skills:
  • AWS certifications.
  • Prior experience in financial services, telecommunications, or consulting industries.
