Job Summary

F R R Consultants PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Installation Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Testing: Properly install, test, and repair all electrical and electronic wirings, appliances, equipment, fixtures, and apparatus.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Correctly use hand tools and test equipment to determine the main cause of electrical problems.
  • Electrical Connections: Properly connect wires to transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect electrical equipment, systems, and components to identify defects, hazards, or the need for repair and adjustment.
  • Electrical Safety: Provide advice to management and homeowners on the safety of electrical equipment and ensure it is not hazardous.
  • Layout and Installation Planning: Plan the correct layout and installation of electrical wirings, fixtures, and equipment that comply with local codes.
  • Tool and Equipment Operation: Properly use a variety of tools and equipment, including measuring devices, testing equipment, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • License and Certification: Maintain an up-to-date electrician's license or identification card that meets government regulations.
  • Equipment Replacement: Replace faulty electrical wirings and equipment, including switches, relays, motors, and printed circuit boards.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical wirings and equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other electrical-related tasks, such as repairing time clocks, transforming coil winders, and maintaining salvage repairs.
Requirements
  • Electrical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as electrician's license or identification card.
Working Conditions

The Electrical Installation Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting, as well as working at heights and in confined spaces.
