Senior Electrical Systems Designer

The Electrical Design Manager is responsible for leading the design and development of electrical systems for power distribution. This involves creating detailed circuit diagrams, single line diagrams, and component selection documents.
Using CAD software, the Electrical Design Manager will draft electrical designs including circuit books, equipment layouts, and routing designs. They will also develop Bills of Materials and Scope of Work documents to support procurement of equipment for bids and projects.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum polytechnic diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 6 years of relevant experience. They should be proficient in 2D and 3D drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Microstation, Solidworks, BIM 360, or Revit MEP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for power distribution
- Create detailed circuit diagrams and single line diagrams
- Select and specify electrical components
- Draft electrical designs using CAD software
- Develop Bills of Materials and Scope of Work documents
- Support factory and site activities as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum polytechnic diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting tools
- Good interpersonal skills, writing and verbal skills, people supervision skills
- Willingness to work at Tuas area
