Job Overview

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is seeking an experimental neuroscientist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will contribute to advancing our understanding of brain function in both normal and diseased states.

We use an interdisciplinary approach, combining cutting-edge techniques such as in vivo mouse models, optical imaging, cellular, and molecular profiling. Our work aims to understand brain development, what goes wrong, and how altered functions can be rescued.

The successful candidate will design, execute, and analyze experiments to advance our knowledge in this area. A strong background in neuroscience, excellent research skills, and good communication skills are essential for this role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute experiments to advance our understanding of brain function
  • Analyze data and report findings
  • Contribute to hypothesis formulation, grant writing, publications, and presentations
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners
Requirements:
  • Strong background in neuroscience or related field
  • Excellent research skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Prior research experience in neuroscience preferred
