High-Performance Control Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Control Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance control systems for precision pointing and stabilization of laser communication devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control theory, dynamic modeling, and design using MATLAB/Simulink.
The Senior Control Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink with automatic code generation, and verifying them through simulation-based and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
This role requires collaboration with hardware, manufacturing, and software design teams to support optical system development and new alignment technologies.
Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in control system design for moving mechanical platforms (e.g., gimbals, telescopes, spacecraft ADCS, precision optical systems).
- Proficiency in control theory, dynamic modeling, and design using MATLAB/Simulink.
