Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children and helping them grow into curious and confident learners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to infants aged 6 months to 2 years. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track the learning progress of students, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH PARENTS, STAFF, AND STUDENTS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND ACTIVE LISTENING.
  • Create a safe and secure environment that fosters a sense of belonging and well-being among children.
  • Guide and motivate Assistant Teachers/Classroom Helpers in carrying out their tasks, ensuring seamless collaboration and teamwork.
  • Follow assigned work shift patterns of the centre, maintaining flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other related duties as required, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the success of the centre.
Requirements:
  • Hold at least a HCIC/AEY qualification; EY1 and EY2 qualifications are advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Show a commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and research.
