Secure Software Specialist

Our team is responsible for ensuring the security of our software supply chain. We achieve this by developing and deploying secure products, which involves creating state-of-the-art security alongside product and infrastructure teams.
The Secure Supply Chain team focuses on creating a secure environment for our code to run in. As a software engineer, you will work on next-generation Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) systems for dependency tracking and analysis. We combine third-party tooling with in-house systems to enhance code security, including backend, frontend, infrastructure, and mobile code.
- Create and design systems securing our entire software supply chain.
- Develop and integrate systems detecting third-party vulnerabilities in libraries, OS, and container components.
- Integrate with GitLab, CI/CD, and build attestation systems.
- Partner effectively with our infrastructure teams and other security teams.
- Collaborate with developers across our organization to embed systems in their workflows.
- Apply knowledge towards real-world security problems.
We look for candidates with:
- A minimum of 6+ years of industry experience as a programmer, developer, SWE, or similar roles.
- General knowledge of multiple languages and in-depth knowledge of at least one: Golang, Java, Python.
- General knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS.
- DevOps and IAC (Infrastructure As Code) experience.
- Experience managing performance, availability, and scale of mid- to large-sized systems.
- A team player, eager to work globally.
- Highly entrepreneurial and motivated.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
