Job Title

Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) construction specialist responsible for overseeing the construction of M&E systems to meet performance and procedural standards.

About the Role

This position involves ensuring all M&E construction activities meet quality and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will have a background in engineering and relevant industry experience.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Quality Control: Ensure that all M&E construction activities adhere to established standards and regulations, recommending improvements and corrective actions as necessary.
  2. Contractor Management: Supervise contractors to guarantee quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable codes, and project schedule and cost.
  3. Design and Installation: Collaborate with draftsmen and subcontractors to design, supervise, and install mechanical installations, including testing and commissioning of all systems.
  4. Project Oversight: Provide supervision and input on site projects regarding site logistics, installation, safety, subcontractors, quality, cost control, and timely reporting.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments, government authorities, consultants, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
  6. Reporting and Communication: Assist in timely project progress reporting to management and attend site meetings as required.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure business objectives are met and comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements
  1. Education: Diploma in Engineering, majoring in MEP or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 4 years of working experience.
  3. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the Construction Industry, particularly in ACMV services, is advantageous.
  4. Personal Qualities: High level of initiative, independence, meticulousness, and ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.
  5. Technical Skills: Good command of English and computer literacy, proficiency in MS Excel, and knowledge of AutoCad, Revit, Microstation, and Primavera software are desirable.
