The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist plays a critical role in our support framework, providing expert guidance and implementation advice to ensure the effective management of large-scale multi-platform infrastructures.

As a key member of our team, you will proactively identify and advise on potential challenges that may arise in customer environments, utilizing your knowledge of new and existing technologies, products, and features to address specific requirements.

Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to evaluate, document, and train Cloud Engineering and support teams to ensure the supportability of customer environments.

You will serve as the final escalation point within our organization for resolving technical issues and complex problems, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for guiding the selection and implementation of cloud solutions within our support framework.

Collaborating with vendors, you will analyze escalated requests, identify training opportunities to enhance technical expertise, and drive positive customer outcomes.

Adherence to industry security standards and best practices is essential for this role.

Key responsibilities of the Cloud Infrastructure Specialist include serving as a technical escalation point for the Cloud Support and Engineering teams, collaborating with partners to resolve customer issues, and creating and delivering customer solutions.

You will participate in defining future state architectures, platforms, and solutions to enhance security capabilities. Additionally, you will lead analysis efforts, review vendor support escalations, and contribute to technical best practices development.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess expert-level knowledge of cloud platform products, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack, as well as a deep understanding of operating system-specific webhosts and database technologies.

Proficiency in Agile/Lean Development, CI/CD Tools, Cloud Automation Tools, and other technical skills is required. Collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams is essential for successful project delivery.

Education requirements for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with relevant technical certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certifications for Hyper-V Specialists, and VCP-DCV Certification for VMware Specialists being preferred.
