Network Infrastructure Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining complex network infrastructures including routing, switching, firewall and load balancing solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions using enterprise-class networking and security platforms e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network performance, capacity planning and proactive maintenance to ensure optimal system uptime.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to resolve incidents and escalate technical issues as required.
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation including network diagrams, configuration standards and operational procedures.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in network engineering roles.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols and architectures e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, HA clusters.
- Strong experience with cloud networking AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
- Basic to intermediate experience with system administration Windows/Linux will be advantageous.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP or equivalent are required additional certifications e.g., NSE, PCNSE, AWS are a plus.
